Nesreća…

Sadly there was an accident on the first day. During the paratroopers assault from the a transport aircraft C-130 Hercules, one paratrooper hit the parachute of another and they both uncontrolled hit the ground . Both Austrian soldiers were lucky to get away with “just” broken pelvis and shoulder and were not in critical conditions. The reaction of ambulance was swift, only 2 minutes after accident first aid was given and 23 minutes later they were transported to the regional hospital with Alouette III.
Even though the reaction was fast, to me looking thru the lens, those 20 minutes seemed like eternity…Seriously, after I saw the para troopers hit the ground I didn’t think they had a chance in surviving. I hope they fully recovered and I wish them all the best.

A ovo je najsimpatičniji „follow me“ ikad!

An-26 Srpskog ViPVO bio je deo statičke postavke zajedno sa G-4.

Ne bih bio fer a da ne pohvalim i odličnu organizaciju samog događaja. Očigledno je organizacioni tim od 5000 ljudi perfektno radio svoj posao. Iako sam kao fotoreporter u svojoj profesionalnoj karieri prisustvovao velikom broju događaja, čini mi se da niko nije posvetio toliku pažnju novinarima kao ljudi sa AIRPOWERA-a. Vrhinska hrana u neograničenim količinama, piće, tone Red Bull-a, o ljubaznom osoblju, dobroj pokrivenosti wireless-om i press kafeu i da ne pričam (prema rečima organizatora vredni novinari i spoteri su za dva dana pojeli 4000 kobasica, 2000 šnicli i 1500 pljeskavica i ko zna koliko hektolitara sokova i red bull-a :) ).

Na kraju mogu samo da vas posavetujem da se na vreme spremite za AIRPOWER 13, jer ovo je događaj koji ne treba propustiti!
